Admission Process

Government Polytechnic, Khutri, Bokaro

Admission is taken on the basis of entrance examination taken by JCECEB Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. The required information for admission is advertised by Deptt. Science and Technology, Govt. of Jharkhand in prominent news papers and websites. Admission forms are made available on payment through identified Bank and Post Offices. Applicant are required to appear for a written test of three hours duration in subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and G.K. of Matriculation level, on a specified Date, Time and Venue. Successful Candidates are subsequently called for counseling to allot the College and Branch of study based on performance in the Entrance test and Candidates preferences.

Admission in Government Polytechnic, Khutri, Bokaro :-

Admission is taken on the basis of list of candidates received from JCECEB within a specified period with relevant documents, Certificates and Fees etc. are deposited in the college by due date specified. Latecomers may not get admission.The application form complete in all respects and accompanied with the 1st Year Fees and under mentioned documents be submitted to the Principal of the Polytechnic.

Required Documents (In Original)

  1. Original Admit Card issued by JCECEB
  2. Provisional Seat Allotment Letter issued by JCECEB
  3. Six Copies of Recent Photograph
  4. Admit Card, Marks Sheet, Original / Provisional Certificate of 10th or equivalent Examination.
  5. Admit Card, Marks Sheet, Original / Provisional Certificate of 12th or equivalent Examination. (For Lateral Entry Candidate Only)
  6. Local Resident Certificate issued by C.O. / S.D.O. / D.C. of Jharkhand State in prescribed format.
  7. Caste Certificate issued by C.O. / S.D.O. / D.C. of Jharkhand State in prescribed format. (If Applicable)
  8. Income Certificate issued by C.O. / S.D.O. / D.C. of Jharkhand State in prescribed format. (If Applicable)
  9. School / College Leaving Certificate
  10. Medical Fitness Certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner.
  11. Physically Challenged Certificate (For PH Candidate Only) issued by the Medical Suprintendent / CMO / Head of Hospital.
  12. Certificate regarding SMQ Quota Seat (If Applicable)
  13. Affidavit (UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institution, 2009) by the Parent/Guardian.
  14. Affidavit (UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institution, 2009) by the Student.
  15. Aadhar Card or any Other Identity Card.
  16. Affidavit of Gaping – If Gaping period is more than one year after passing 10th, 12th or other (If Applicable)
    1. Two Set of Self Attested Xerox Copies of All Certificates / Documents.
